Year 2 Covid Archive-Rainbows
When asked about their experiences of the COVID pandemic and lockdown, the children in Year 2 remember seeing rainbows in windows. Rainbows were placed in the windows of houses, shops, businesses and other buildings as a sign of hope and in support of our amazing NHS. During the March 2020 lockdown in school, the children of key workers made a rainbow collage of their handprints as well as creating a rainbow banner that hung outside the school gates.
