Violinda Class
Soon after the war Mr. Ward introduced the group teaching of the Violin. These classes were known as Violinda classes. Mr. Hallah Brown, probably employed as a peripatetic violin teacher by Middlesex County Council, was the teacher. He is shown here with one of his classes in what it now the Junior playground, with a house in The Meads in the background.
